This week, I have been doing css. Finally can get rid of flash for a while. =D I did the mission page and the shop layout. Although I like flash, but I think I also like to use html/css too. If I can't be a programmer, perhaps I can become a web programmer. XD
*I will have to learn more about photoshop if I want to be web programmer*
Frankly speaking, i am not looking forward to Monday. Reason? I am scared I have to do the puzzle. I realized that I am not suitable for "Algorithm programming". I think is due to the fact that I do not like puzzle games, that's why I couldn't really handle this type of programming. I personally do not like games that require me to think (ya I'm lazy HAHA), naturally puzzle games are out for me. XD
I want to code more css!!
ps: I haven't completed the coding for my blog. Maybe I'll have to drag till 2 weeks later...

This week, I'm still doing puzzle. And I got a new task which is to code interface using CSS. Finally can escape from Flash for a while. =D
I realised that maybe I'm not cut out to be a flash programmer. =( Don't know what I can do in games industry already.. Sad.
Outing with clique on Thursday! Went to Astons (yummy!), and Singapore Flyer! Shall not elaborate more cause I'm not in the mood to blog now.

Ok. This week has been a meaningful week for me. Cause I've learn something new this week. I shall elaborate a bit more later. =D
This week, I'm continuing to work on puzzle. I've been doing this for 2+ weeks! My progress is too slow! And I'm targeting to end this next week. I managed to make the tile check for the directions, but when i dump all my tile checking codes into one function, it doesn't work! Oh no must solve it by this week..
On Wednesday, I went to eat with my best buddy (the other art intern, we are good friends now). He knew I slacked a lot while working, and he "scolded" me. Well, it's not real scolding. And he managed to "jolt" me out of "slackerland". And I really worked hard on Thursday and Friday. I will continue to work as hard as before, and not slack too much. Well, he taught me how to self-discipline and advised me a lot. I really have to thank him. =D
My lecturer will be coming on Monday! Haix don't know what to do when he comes..
Yesterday, had to go attend a wedding dinner. Actually I don't want to go, but then no one will accompany my mum go, so I had to go (haha). Why was I not interested in that wedding? Cause I don;t even know whom the bride and groom was! But fortunately, there was good food to entertain me, and wine to keep me sober (I was feeling damn tired, and somehow wine keeps me awake). Homed at 1230am and slept at 1+am.

It's the 6th week! Next week is the last week before holidays!! (Sad I don't have holidays).
Ok. I'll start the rambling now. Monday to Friday, I did the puzzle thing. LOL simple as that. I managed to get the puzzle up on Thursday!!! I'm sooooo happy. All thanks to Auron for his help and inspirations... Now I'm doing the gameplay, which I think I can't really make it. =(
I might want to watch Zombieland with my colleagues! Heard it is nice (and it's like Dead Rising).
I'm lazy to take a photo of the company T-shirt... =x But I will upload once I find a chance to take a picture (I think my mum will think I'm weird if I take out that shirt and snap a photo of it...)
Oh ya. Facebook's damn laggy now. And I can't play mafia wars! Anyway I heard mafia wars itself will install some kind of cookies in your internet browser... What the heck..

Sorry if my post is jump from day to day (cause I have a lot to talk about).
Ok. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I was coding the puzzle game. On Thursday, after been stuck on how to check whether user's clicking on which tiles, I asked cs to help. He told me to try using event.currentTarget to check. Wow it works!! And I'm so happy! That's why I slowly loving programming. You can get stuck for days, but nothing beats the joy of getting the solution to the problem.
However, I'm still confused on how to check which tile is empty, and move the available tile into the empty slot..
Here's the code to find which tile the user's clicking on (maybe Auron might be interested).
I'm declaring a array called puzzle.

I got a chance to install some REAL STUFF on 25th November! It was my first time in poly life installing real programs! And not from hard disk and getting cracks for the registration code!

Well, royal readers here will know that 26th November is my birthday. I've gotten quite "a few" presents from "friends and foes". First, thanks to the company who celebrated my birthday on last friday and presented me with vouchers. *LOLs* Secondly, thanks to the floor outside my house's lift for giving me a bruise on that day (yes I fell down and gotten a gift). Thirdly, thanks for that ferrari! Although I admit doors will be better (ahahaha).
Ok. Shall stop here. My post's being too messy already *laughs*. Shall blog again next week.

As usual, I will blog about what I do this week.
Ok. On Monday, I gametested in the morning before knowing my new task is to think of new puzzles. Tuesday I also continued to research on the puzzles. Wednesday, after I presented the findings to CS and boss, they decided they wanted the "pipe dream" (what the hell should not include the Onimusha puzzle inside..). Now I have trouble coding the game out. =x
Yesterday was a fun day! We had a party in the office. Apparently, they wanted to celebrate me and another's birthday. I played Guitar Hero with another colleague while three colleagues went to buy dinner. The rest simply dota-ed. After we ate, I continued to play Guitar Hero before being "rudely" interrupted by someone who stand in front of the tv and causing us to "die". LOL! Me and another blow out the candles before cutting the cake.
Guitar Hero again till 11+pm. Went home after that. =D
One more thing. I finally found my maple character in the rankings! However there's no picture of my cute character.. How sad. Saw that xuan's character has an image. =(

As usual, I will update on what I have been doing this week.
On Monday, CEO asked me to edit the flash (the one with the 8 thing). I completed that just in time to dota. Haha!
Tuesday onwards, I've been asked to game test. People will say: "Game test so good, why are u so sian?" Answer:"If you play a same area for 4 days, will you get tired of it?" It's the same theory, I can even memorize the quest stuff. LOL.
Luckily, I've been given some bogus accounts to manage. That managed to distract me from game testing to focus on those marketing strategies. When I went into the first account, I was shocked by the amount of friend requests she had. I will attach the screenshot later.
Backed to game testing. I've found some bugs while testing. But majority are minor bugs that invlove php. Managed to take some screenshots of those bugs. If you all want, I can upload the pictures here. Haha.
I got my pay slip! =D It's in the form of a cheque. According to my friend, if a company gives cheque to its employees, it means the company cares for them. Haha..
Oh ya. I'm playing Red Cliff! It's fun! Although the battle animations looks weird. LOL!!
